What a wonderful Term 3 we’ve had in 1st/2nd Class. We have been so busy but it has really been a very special and memorable time for the boys.
The boys in 2nd class made their First Holy Communion in May, we played in a GAA Tournament, visited the Cabra library and spent a day in the Botanic Gardens. We also went into town to do a music workshop in the National Concerts Hall, took part in Sport’s Day and finished off our year nicely with a wonderful, sunny day out at Fort Lucan for our school trip.
You may think we didn’t have time for any schoolwork, but we managed to finish off the curriculum and squeeze in lots of nice educational activities like projects on different animals and different countries.
This year has been an incredible year for the boys. Not only have they worked extremely hard in the classroom, but the mix of 1st and 2nd class has allowed them to make lots of new friendships. I am very proud to have been their teacher this year! I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer holiday.
