What an exciting and busy Term 2 it has been for our Junior and Senior Infants!
This term, we explored the season of spring, delving into how nature changes with the warmer weather. The children were busy participating in the Incredible Edibles programme as they were planting lots of fruit and vegetables. We also took a closer look at life on the farm, learning about animals, crops, and the important role farmers play in our community.
We also learned lots about the Farmers Market. The children learned about the variety of fresh produce available and how food gets from the farm to our tables. Our learning didn’t stop in the classroom! We enjoyed a wonderful trip to the local library, where the children participated in a fantastic music workshop and a spring walk to Shandon Park where the children explored nature, played in the park, and observed the many signs of spring.
We are incredibly proud of all the growth and curiosity our Junior and Senior Infants have shown this term. I would like to wish you a Happy Easter and I look forward to our final term.
