It has been a very busy time in Le Chéile 1 since we came back from the Christmas break. We moved from the theme of Winter to Spring, learning about a wide variety of topics including St. Brigid, robins and sheep. Even with the wide range of topics, we still had plenty of down time to take some well needed rest.
We were never short of news since the new year, with events like storm Eowyn closing the school for a day. We made sure to take advantage of the good weather when we could, by going on nature walks around the school and to the local park.
We surely built up an appetite with all that exercise. Every Friday, we learn about a new type of food and bake it in the school kitchen. Chocolate croissant anyone?
We learned all about sheep and how their wool is used to make clothes. We even made our own sheep! Spring has most certainly sprung in Le Chéile 1!
