It’s hard to believe we are finishing up our first term together in Le Chéile 2. We’ve been so busy and have had so much fun over the last few months. Since the Halloween mid-term we have focused on the theme of ‘food’. We learnt all about healthy and unhealthy food, did food experiments in Science, learnt songs about food in Music (Peanut Butter and Jelly was definitely our favourite!) and listened to lots of stories about weird and wonderful food creations in English. We also got to do lots of baking together as a class and even got to go on a trip to our local bakery Clarkes and sample some treats…yum!
In December, our focus switched to all things Christmas. This caused great excitement. We decorated our class and prepared for our Christmas play. This year, both Le Chéile classes joined forces for the Christmas play and the performance was absolutely spectacular. It was wonderful to have all the parents in to see a recording of this performance and a slideshow of all the lovely work and activities the boys have been up to recently. We are so extremely proud of the boys and we cannot wait to continue on all the great work next term. For now, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
