It has been a wonderful start to the year for sixth class. The boys have been super busy and are doing great work since their return to school. Over the past number of weeks, sixth class have been enjoying Athletics, Cricket, GAA and we are looking forward to beginning Awesome Walls next week.
The boys have been learning all about Procedural Writing in English which afforded them the lovely opportunity of making Rice Krispie buns and Pizzas using their own recipes. We have been busy following the Rugby World Cup and the boys are completing a project on their team. We even made our own Ireland jerseys and learned the sign language for Ireland’s Call. The boys have also been busy completing STEM challenges, learning all about Space and experimenting in Science.
It has been a great start to the year and we are looking forward to the fun ahead.
